Last may 2016 election many celebrities endorses Presidential candidates. One of them was Presidential Candidate Mar Roxas of Liberal Party. All local politicians belonging to the Liberal Party needed fund for their campaign but the party prioritize their Presidential and vice presidential candidate and the local politicians were left behind.
Celebrities who endorses Mar Roxas are volunteered endorsers of the presidential candidate.But cristy Fermin , a veteran talk show host said that the 36 celebrities who endorses Mar Roxas was paid worth 20 Million Pesos each.
Cristy Fermin pointed out that one celebrity allegedly receives 20 Million Pesos. Mar Roxas celebrity endorser mostly from TV network ABS -CBN headed by Kris Aquino,Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, Ruffa Mae Quinto and Carla Abellana and many more.There was no problem campaigning and helping Mar Roxas, the issue for investigation was the money spend to the alleged celebrity endorser paid from people's fund for typhoon Yolanda victims.
