Battle between Sen Leila De Lima and Pres. Rodrigo Duterte was not yet over. The lady Senator go to Supreme Court for filing the Petition of Writ of Habeas Data against Pres. Duterte. Many woman together with the senator go to supreme court to file the case against the tough talking President.
The purpose of the petition De Lima said" to enjoin respondent and any of his representatives from committing , and or continuing to commit unlawful acts that have violated and threaten to further violate her right to privacy in life, liberty or security; from wrongfully collecting information about her private life..to give her access to the sources of information collected.
The petition of the Lady senator was against the presidential immunity of the President . De Lima added that Pres. Duterte's personal attacks against her are not part of his duties and function as Chief Executive.Presidential spokesperson replied to De Lima's filing was" Senator De Lima's filing of a petition before the supreme court is calculated to generate media noise to drown out accusations against her."
